The Right Medicine

I read this over the weekend in the book Women Who Run With the Wolves, “Don’t pack whatever is easiest or most available into the emptiness. Hold out for the right medicine. You will recognize it because it makes your life stronger rather than weaker. ” When we get quiet and don’t like what we feel or hear, we run to soothe ourselves with whatever is available. What if we felt the discomfort and listened to what our soul was trying to tell us? What really deserves your attention?
